Another term as Senator for the Silver Haired Legislature
DALE BEATY
EXPERIENCE and DEDICATION to seniors is what makes DALE BEATY the best candidate for the position of Senator for the SHL. WHY?
He has served as Senator on the SHL since 2015 when he was first elected.
In October of 2016, DALE BEATY was there when the SHL met to debate over 20 proposals that were in the best interest of Missouri seniors, five were chosen. DALE BEATY made sure that the Daily Dunklin Democrat printed and informed seniors throughout Dunklin County and the area about those proposals and how seniors would be affected.
DALE BEATY says that Seniors in Missouri are growing while funding is decreasing, and important senior programs such as nutritional meals, health care, and home care are being denied to seniors due to lack of funding. Cutting benefits and reducing services is counterproductive to the growing needs of the senior population of Missouri, and Beaty believes that under current funding, Missouri Area Agency on Aging (AAA/Aging Matters) can serve only approximately 10 percent of those eligible. He is working closely with legislators and the AAA, to garner more funding and continue the programs that are needed.
“I go every year to Senior Advocacy Day in Jefferson City to promote all the issues and visit all legislators,” said Beaty. “I believe I do a good job at working for the seniors.
Beaty plays a big role at the Kennett OAKS Nutrition Center, volunteering with BINGO and other activities to help the seniors there.
SO, make sure seniors are adequately represented by voting and re-electing for DALE BEATY on MAY 9 at your local OAKS Senior Nutrition Center as the Senator for the SHL. DALE BEATY listens to seniors and acts on it.
The SHL elections were held at the following 32 OAKS Nutrition Centers:
Seniors must live within the county of the center where they cast their vote.

Congratulations Dale Beaty
